PSC Walk for Life

From the PSC:

We invite you to WALK for LIFE at this Walk for Life Event! The Walk for Life is a simple way for people of all ages to get involved by actively demonstrating support for the value of human life - and a desire to make a difference in the lives of women, men and babies in our community. By raising funds and walking yourself or by giving a one-time gift to support another walker for the Walk for Life, you are directly helping the Pregnancy Support Center to offer hope and help to those impacted by pregnancy.

The funds we raise from this year’s Walk for Life will help the ministry of the Pregnancy Support Center to continue life-affirming programs that bring hope to those who are impacted by pregnancy within our community. The FREE services the PSC provides to the community are: Pregnancy Tests; Individual Peer-Counseling Classes; Limited Obstetric Ultrasounds; Childbirth, Breastfeeding & Infant Care Education; Options Counseling; Parenting, Co-Parenting & Fatherhood Education; baby supplies; Post-Abortion Support & Education; Baby & Maternity clothing; and Group Classes.

Things to Know:

  • Bring a main dish for your family AND a side/dessert to share

  • Bring your decorated/painted pumpkins for the pumpkin decorating contest

  • All children under 18 must have a parent/guardian in order to camp

Schedule:

  • 6:00PM - Open Grill (bring a meat to grill and a side/dessert to share!)

  • 7:45PM - Worship around the Campfire

  • 11:00PM - Lights Out for Campers

  • 7:30AM - Breakfast for Campers

  • 12:00PM - Lunch (provided)

  • 1:30PM - Organized Games

  • 3:00PM - Pumpkin Contest Winner Announced

Christmas Open House

The Christmas Open House is Friday, December 12th beginning at 6:30pm.

A heavenly array of finger foods, holiday desserts and beverages will be prepared and served by many wonderful volunteers.

So join us at the church for this floating party to feast and fellowship in celebration of the birth of Jesus who has brought us into the family of God.

  • 4PM - Meet the Ministry Horses

  • 4:30PM - Buck-A-Roo Ranch

  • 5PM - Stick Horse Races (Bring your own stick horse)

  • 6PM - Dinner & Dancing (Dinner is provided by Farmville Fishin’ Pig)
